Yanno, I keep reading this site that complains about stupid baby names and I keep finding myself saying, "so what's so wrong with that seemingly semi-random sequence of syllables"? I agree that some of them are just tease-fodder (having been the victim of name-teasing myself in grade school, even with the benefit of a normal enough name), but aside from that, I don't see what's wrong with giving a child a name that's unlikely to appear in any baby-book, and not that unlikely to appear in a fantasy novel (given that it's not actually taken from such - see above about other cruel kids not recognizing it)...?

As well as anyone who thinks giving their baby girl a name that ends with `i`. How many tammis and judis and sallis have amounted to anything in the world?

I mean the world is mean and filled with asses..i make fun of names myself but thats only out of partying atmosphere and habit. But names are names whatever a person feels comfortable with hopefully those who are comfortable with their name are able to get past the initial stun and awe of introducing themselves to other who are somewhat ignorant of other names that are not apart of teh status quo that they can get past that and accept not everyone is going to automatically understand. some names just great hurdles for bearer to jump over while other do the oppsite...
