I am clearly missing something here. LJ is telling me that there is "irreparable invalid markup" in the post I am trying to make with a table with pictures in it. Aside from the obvious table and tr and stuff, It's basically a lot of this:

<td width="134"><center><img src="http://www.eristic.net/pics/tatsthumb.jpg" width="130" height="100"></center></td>

And the error is specifically:

Irreparable invalid markup ('<img [...] </td>') in entry.

Can someone tell me wtf either it is, or I am, smoking? I am not seeing any problem in the HTML there. If I view it in something that just interprets HTML (like a browser, or the preview tab of Deepest Sender) it looks fine. (Yes, I checked for missing quotes, slashes, less-thans, etc)

I can't guarantee this will fix it, but it might be worth a try and is the best I can offer without seeing the full html of the table you're trying to insert:

The weird-looking backslash before the > symbol is the syntax for closing tags which have no natural separate closing tags. It may (and I emphasize may) be that LJ's html parser has been updated to a more current syntax and tags without closings are now causing it to shit itself. That's the most logical explanation that I can think of, anyway, from viewing the code you posted. Hope it helps and is something simple like that.

Unless they made that change in the past few days (and without announcing it anywhere, like news??), I don't think so. I use unclosed img tags all the time and they're fine. Maybe worth a try tho.
