It seems that every time I go to the shopping centre down the street from my house, something has changed. Today I noticed a new, different pizzeria where for several weeks (months?) there had existed only the carcass of a Papa John's.
It would seem this shopping centre does not well support pizzerias - I think it was some other pizza place before it became a Papa John's, and what is now a Starbucks had used to be a Straw Hat (or something) as recently as... well, I was about to say "as recently as seventh grade". Then it struck me that that's something like 13 years ago. But I digress; pizza parlour roulette is not the subject of today's anecdote.
Another tenant in this shopping centre is a little dentistry practice, which has been there for a few months or so. I've passed by it a number of times, reading their window and signs, and thus am fully cognizant of the fact of its being a place of dentistry.
However, when I passed it by today, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a most startling advertisement painted on their window:
Holistic Detective
A second look proved it to be, in fact, Holistic Dentistry they were advertising, not that I'm at all sure precisely what holistic dentistry would be. But for a brief, shining moment...
