I have, like, no voice. This sucks. My job involves a lot of talking that I can't really take care of any other way. I have to say things the students wouldn't know how to say, especially trying to interpret from gestures; fuck writing everything down. So I'm still talking despite not being able to talk. Ow. enotsola, you know how I sounded on Tuesday, mostly just congested? Well now it's... laryngitisal.

...Sure, that's a word. Me, last night, to mom's Needleworkers' Guild friends over for klatch last night, when one of them was stumbling over swing/swung/swang: "English grammar is as flexible as English spelling, especially in the Middle Ages." Although I must say that "laryngitisal" puts me in mind of both Python's "Medical Love Song" and the MST3K song "Tubular Boobular Joy", itself obviously a takeoff on "Bibbity-Bobbity-Boo" from Disney's Cinderella:
