There were some amusing "one-liners letters" in the Letters to the Editor spot in the Mercury today...
"No one has the right to stop Ralph Nader from running for president, but I would consider it a patriotic gesture if members of the Federal Election Commission pooled their money and bought the guy a new suit."
"I can't imagine why Governor Schwarzenegger needs six environment-destroying Hummers, but at least now I know why he was so intent on repealing the car tax."
"If outsourcing jobs is good for a nation's economy, then why aren't India and China outsourcing theirs?"
