This is the picture I was talking about last night. Now that I look at it more closely, I see he does not in fact have four (I think I must have been interpreting the legs as an extra pair or something).
Just so you know. It's not a racoon. It's a tanuki. They're a seperate species.
The weirdest thing though. The little red riding hood and the testicle bouncing tanuki are from a japanese advertising campaign for a new apartment complex that a certain construction company had recently finished.
did you see the other commercials in the series? one of them had Red dancing with several other woodland creatures, all of whom had enormous breasts, and there was at least one reappearance of the tanuki.... =)
*nods* I know what it is. It came up because tiggrrl was showing people their tanuki figure and was talking about the sake she had bought to feed it. So I said "you know, razorjak has this one userpic that freaks me out..." and here we are.

the next one where the Tanuki starts running towards the screen ... and that one is really creepy.
the rest are more subdued.

Tanuki is a main character in Tom Robbin's most recent, "Villa Incognito". Interesting to finally see wtf he was talking about.
