I've got a bunch of CDs I'd like to get rid of but have dim-to-none prospects of selling, but would rather at least send to someone for shipping cost rather than donate to Goodwill or the like, and some aren't suitable for that. But I'm not sure what to do with all this "nobody wants" kind of stuff.

These are perfectly legitimate, bought copies (some are music club "printings"), but there are so many of them out there that I could list them forever at 75 cents on half.com and never sell them:

Black 47 - Fire of Freedom
Green Day - Dookie
Royal Crown Revue - Mugzy's Move
U2 - Achtung Baby
B-52's - Cosmic Thing (dibs'd)

These weren't in the half.com database and I'm not up for the hassle of trying to list them on eBay proper:

Alisa Jones - Hammered Strings (hammered dulcimer with other instruments)
Bad Religion - Holiday Sampler (promo CD, no UPC or indeed even liner notes, as it originally came in an envelope)
Bloodhound Gang - C'mon, Party People: The In-Store Play CD (promotional in essence, I guess)

These are "on demand" CDs from MP3.com, back in the day when you could order a CD of a selection of any member's songs. They don't exist as far as commercial databases are concerned (no UPC, etc.):

Elemental - Darkened Light and Rainbow Sparkles (amateurish synth music with dull male vocals - come on, you know you want it!)
Kalos - 5 song demo (was a local band in Sacramento; glam rock, kind of. Lead singer sounds to be doing his best David Bowie impersonation.)

These are legitimate copies of the discs, but they were part of a CD wallet I found once, so it was just the discs and no cases (thus no liner notes or anything):

The Crow soundtrack
Radiohead - Amnesiac
Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Let's Face It
Simon & Garfunkel - Collected Works
Soundgarden - Superunknown
Go West - Aces and Kings: The Best of Go West
Spin Doctors - Pocket Full of Kryptonite
Animaniacs - Variety Pack
White Lion - Pride
AC/DC - Back in Black
Def Leppard - High 'n' Dry
Whitesnake - Whitesnake
Roger Waters - Amused to Death

These were once in that grey area of "are you allowed to copy a CD you own a real copy of?", but since I took the copies away from the originals in moving back to the Bay area from Sac, they're now probably specifically illegal:

Psychic TV - Third Tablet of Acid - Origin of the Species v.2 (dibs'd)
Psychic TV - Hex Sex: The Singles Pt. 1 (this has "Roman P", aka "The Volkswagen commercial song") (dibs'd)
Suzanne Vega - Best Of (Tried and True)
Orchestral Manouevres in the Dark - Best of OMD

And then there's some goth/ebm/darksynth-type mix CDs I made where I have since bored of the tracks, or had repeats on other mixes, or which were made just to mess around, or whatever:

1: 2: 3:

Suggestions? (Or indeed, any takers?) Freecycling was a bit of a headache, especially since I have a hard time directing people how to find me at work for pickup, so I'd rather not try that.

Edit: I should mention that a lot of the copies had one or two spots of staticky flaw, probably due to their having been copied on a P90 or something which had an external CD burner connected by.. parallel port? (!) I know for a fact there is one or two in OMD and Suzanne Vega.

End of the month is cool. I'm going to Dancing the Endless Dream in Houston on Memorial Day weekend, so I could mail either like the Thursday before, or the Tuesday after. BTW I was also listening to "Fourth Tablet of Acid" in the car today and I don't think I want it either, so I could throw that in. I should mention that a lot of the copies had one or two spots of staticky flaw (haven't heard it yet on "Fourth Tablet" but it's a reasonable chance there's one in "Third Tablet"), probably due to their having been copied on a P90 or something which had an external CD burner connected by.. parallel port? (!) If that changes your wanting them, let me know. Otherwise I'll set them aside.
