ROTFL.

Oh lord, the older I get, the funnier that stuff gets.
Doesn't it make you crazy, though?

Oh, okay, he was speaking in draconic, and that's the problem! *chuckle*

y'know, one of the more amusing correlations I've noticed over the years is that many-to-most draconic otherkin seem to have really poor spelling skills, and some of them just have poor linguistic skills in general...

There is a small but definite minority who excel in linguistic skills - they generally have given me the impression of being a mix rather than being pure or mostly draconic, though.

The young-in-body ones seem somewhat more prone to a combination of poor linguistic talents and amazing hubris.

This one is 27, IIRC.

"Amazing amounts of hubris" I would definitely second as a trait. f'rexample, I've encountered dragonfolk in person (before this whole online thing) who believed that karma didn't apply to them, that they were above/outside it and their actions didn't have repercussions cos they were DRAGONS.

Eh, yeah, whatever, I mentally responded, looking for handy objects to duck behind when the fallout came. And come it did, rather swiftly and surely.
Or as several friends of mine are apt to say, "You may not believe in karma, but she surely believes in you." GACK. I am dragon, standard laws of causality need not apply!

Interestingly, I would seem to match up with your general experience here. I don't always write perfectly on mailing lists and the like because I consider it to be an informal medium and not a term paper, but it's a conscious choice to be somewhat loose with my grammar, rather than a lack of skill.

Errr, to continue... and the way in which I would match up is is not being pure dragon, either.

(thoughts all fragmenty.. bah.. attention span *pop*)

It does depend on which of many areas you hang out in, I suppose. The ones who run their chatterboxes the most are usually the ones with the least to say and the poorest ability to say it. Those with something though-out to say often do it in private as of late.

Then again. you're presumably a lot older than me and have been familiar with this longer.
