While I was in Canada I received a postcard (at home) dated December 15th from someone who was in France at the time. It is addressed to "Val Freytag" and reads:
"Dear Val --
How can these women eat croissants daily and stay slim? We are having a great time. Tony and I are Metro experts and are going all over the city. Paris is decorated for Christmas and is beautiful and is bringing out all the Christmas shoppers. See you soon --

The address is perfectly correct except that it omits "Drive" after the street name; no misdelivery or guesswork on the part of the Post Office here. I have no idea who this woman is or how she managed to mess up an address for mailing to a person she clearly knows, at least well enough to say "see you soon". The handwriting looks to be that of a woman at least in her late thirties.
I have no clue at all.
