ugh, sick.

Yesterday morning was absolutely not a cool time to start coming down with something. I went home from work yesterday at about 3 and am staying home today. Shortly I am going to go steam myself in the shower. I think Something wants me away from Pantheacon. I was getting-over-sick and mostly voiceless (and coughing) last year. I'm still going to go (I paid all that money, are you kidding?), but I probably will not be very social. I guess picking the Sul ritual over Orion's conflicting "what are spiritual contacts?" workshop at the same time makes perverse sense now. :-/

Had an odd dream last night wherein there was a big field, and a bunch of brown and black bears capable of speech and walking on their hind legs (for more than the usual time) had been conjured, and there was going to be a procession of Tuatha de Danann down in a small valley between two small ridges in a field, and they were going to be bearing the Four Treasures and/or they were going to rise from the ground (the Cauldron was actually referred to as the Grail), but then it turned out to be a human procession doing something to do with the seven ancient planets, and something about a party and a house and blah. Potential for a neat mystical dream, but got derailed.

Interesting dream -- not quite sure what to say beyond that, but it does sound pretty intresting. It probably would have been much cooler if it had stayed ot the Tuatha procession and not gone into a human procession, but eithe rway it sound spretty cool.

Was it seven planets or seven stars? The reason I ask is because I've always had a bit of an affinity toward the Plieades (sp?) constellation, aka "the seven sisters". I don't really think it's a Tuatha thing, although maybe it is, hard to say really.

I'm also curious about the house thing. Could it have been a Tuatha House and not just a physical place of residence?

Re: House: No, I'm pretty sure it was just a dwelling place. It was the place said party that the dream derailed into took place. I woke up there the following morning and that was when guy-from-Saturn (lol, not literally) was there, something about driving me home. It had definitely been a party of the usual pagany weirdos, but the dream had totally lost its "Faery/TdD" aspect by that point.

Too bad it lost that cool Faery/TdD vibe to it toward the end. Other than the loss of that aspect, do you think you enjoyed yourself?
