Does anyone know why Firefox doesn't seem to hold "favicons"? In no pattern that I have yet been able to discern, they every so often (fairly frequently) revert to the generic page icon for a bookmark. Are these cached and thus expiring as often as my history (2 days), or something?

No, but I really wish I did. It also doesn't always seem to use them, and it annoys me.

Anyway, did a bit of digging, and seems that it's a known problem, sounds like it's been around for a while, and speculation is that yes, it is storing favicons in the cache. Need a seperate favicon cache, or something.
