Is anyone else out there using Firefox 1.0PR? If so, have you found any way to make Find As You Type search only links, as was an option in previous versions? I don't mind the Find bar so much (I almost never use Find to find text in page anyway) but not being able to restrict it to links is a showstopper for me, as it makes the feature almost useless for navigating a page, something I have been doing all the time to save my wrist from mousing. Has anyone solved this, or am I just going to have to revert to 0.9.3?

Also, how about the fact that it doesn't seem to be parsing my userChrome, or else, not understanding the line in it that changes the size of the search box (Google in mine) in the toolbar. Is the file in some new location (I tried copying it from the folder it is in to the place where I saw the samples, which is US > Chrome or something; no dice), or is it just ignoring said command?

From what I've seen, it's broke.

The only way is the hard way:

-Type about:config in the address bar
-type linksonly in the filter
-double click on accessibillity.typeaheadfind.linksonly and set to true
-restart firefox

Which frankly sucks.

I just reverted anyway. I decided I also hate the way that a blocked popup is now signaled under the bookmark toolbar rather than just with the tiny, unobtrusive icon in the bottom left corner. Bleh. Whose bright idea... *grumble*
