Nah, I'm thinking more that it will be like how Yahoo! Groups got trashed and ad-spawned.

Yeah, me too. I mean, come on. Anything Yahoo! touches turning out for the better? (except in an oblique way - if Yahoo had never taken over eGroups, the progression to elven-realities being on Google might never have happened.)
