"Poe Toaster"

BALTIMORE (AP) - The mystery man was dressed for the cold rather than tradition, and some spectators were not quite as respectful as in years past. But for the 56th year, a man stole into a locked graveyard early on Edgar Allan Poe's birthday and placed three roses and a half-empty bottle of cognac on the writer's grave.

(I assume "toaster" here is as in "raiser of a glass", and nothing to do with kitchen appliances.)

I love Poe. Last year I was fortunate and got to hear John Astin's performance reading Poe at the Poe house in Baltimore (where the guy always sneaks into the cemetary for a drink) - this time last year. He's doing it again this year, but the weather's going to be a heck of a challenge, and its already sold out. He's the actor who played the original Gomez in the Addams Family.

I'm not into Otherkin stuff, but have seen you around RA's elist (I don't do much on them, but there I'm Star), and LJ's of "Friends".
