Does anyone out there have any experience renting a car through Hotwire? If you see a good rate, do you need to snap it up right away (this would be about two months in advance), or can you safely wait until a later time (such as ~10 days in advance)? If anyone has a horror story or counter-recommendation I would like to hear those too. I was getting really painful rates looking directly at the various renters' websites.
