Did anyone give passport in perl at Buffalo?

It took me several seconds to work out they had meant "in person" (you can have your passport stamped with the visa in person instead of mailing it, if you like). I was seriously trying to picture a passport in Perl for a few seconds...

If they were going to object to that (which I think Canada is rather less likely to do), they would have done that long before the point of saying "Ok, you're in! Give us your passport so we can put the happy permanent resident stamp in it."
