boring haircolour post

That's what not dyeing my hair for three and a half months does to the colour. What started out deep, vivid blue-violet is now a kind of weak magenta or deep rose, with some steely gray bits where it had been more bluish to begin with. Plus I have 2-3 inch roots. (Yes, I am growing out the dye, for the first time in almost five years, if you were wondering.)

I think it's kinda neat, personally. Especially with that backlit sunshine.

I keep telling myself I'm going to let my natural colour grow out, just 'cause it's been so long, but I usually last about 3 months and then I cave and redye it, 'cause it's either that, or I shave my head...

Hehe, I know the feeling. I just figure that it might be a disadvantage with Generic Prospective Canadian Employer to have purple hair before I find out if they are OK with it. Thus, starting to grow it out.
