Elphaba becomes the Wicked Witch of the West, but for the vast majority of the book she's a sympathetic character (which is the point of the book in the first place). It's hard to describe why you remind me of her... the best way to say it is you Feel the same. Also your personality traits (from what little I know of you) are similair. As a result of which I ended up picturing her as looking like you, only green - except at the end when she goes off the deep end.
I highly recommend picking it up if you get a chance, it's utterly great.
