hmm.. I would have thought that it would still "really" be www.livejournal.com requesting the image.

Bah.. it appears I can't use wildcards; I have to explicitly specify each url. Oh well.. just turned it back off. Not like I've had problems with people hotlinking my pictures or anything (I don't think..).

Nevermind, I checked it myself (dur-hay, I too can load darkmoon.livejournal.com/friends). Doesn't work. Neither does your suggestion. Bah. Oh well.
