Does anyone out there happen to have a woodruff plant in their yard? I wanted to make some May wine and bought dried woodruff, and I fear it's just not going to cut it. If I crumble it in my fingers I can faintly smell its characteristic odor, but it's clearly very weak in essential oils compared to the fresh stuff, apparently not something that well handles being dried and stored.
