It's disappointing to get invested in a TV show and then find out half-way through the season it's going to get cancelled. Instead, the Renew/Cancel index can alleviate that pain by letting you know which shows are likelier to survive.
Oh for the sake of Pete. Mildly disappointing, yes, I suppose (if I cared about TV at all, I might know). And I imagine this is said tongue-in-cheek. Ye gods, I hope so. But #firstworldproblem or what??? Man!
(#firstworldproblem guilt is why I fairly tightly lock whiny crap like the last post - o noes, someone passive-aggressive'd me on the internets. there are millions out there who can't even get clean drinking water and thousands, millions in my own relative environs who are in crushing poverty or suffering real abuse or whatever, and here's me complaining about that? I can't find the acceptable place between "this pain is real and I grapple with terrible despair almost every day of my life" and wanting to dismiss myself with the same kind of "pfft, cheer up emo kid" insult I complained about seeing today in a certain fandom context.)
