The artwork is neat and all, but it just whispers wrong, wrong to me. It's like Star Trek with a weird accent. It's got Ralph McQuarrie's fingerprints all over it - that is, looks like Star Wars (which, don't get me wrong, I like), and that's where this kind of thing belongs, I think. This transplantation of visual style (Star Trek "should" look very different) is striking my eyeballs like some kind of mad scientist hybrid creature.

It is certainly reminiscent of Star Wars - I wonder what the underside of it would be, how closely it was resemble the Imperial Cruiser from the opening shots of SW.
