I dunno. I like tuna but I think this is kind of getting to a point where I can't in good conscience keep ignoring it.

http://www.theatlantic.com/food/archive/2009/11/why-i-dont-miss-bluefin-sushi/30379/ was a little odd to me in some spots. Maybe the tuna I've been eating is not bluefin but I would never have characterized it as a "metallic" taste.

(I'm also a little perplexed at someone's assertion in the comments that if one wants food which melts in the mouth, have ice cream, and extreme tenderness of flesh is "uninteresting". Me, there are some things I like to chew and some things I don't, and my brain normally rebels against having to chew seafood too much.)

Geez, does Alfred A. Knopf publish anything that isn't "A Borzoi book"? I swear it's on everything I catalog. (NB: may not be literally true, it just sure feels like everything from Knopf that crosses my desk bears this imprint) At that point, why specify? It's not like you're differentiating from other non-Borzoi you publish. Wha?

edit: Answered; thanks!

Can someone please tell me what the text next to the two dates (2004 and 2010) near the top of this pub. info block says?

Is there any mention there or elsewhere of this being a new edition, second edition, etc. sort of thing? Alternatively, does it say second printing (which for my purposes may be different) or similar?

This was made fun of on the Colbert Report tonight, but I gotta say this "Lithuania" perfume sounds pretty good to me:

The perfume "Lithuania" is a blend of sandalwood, cedar and musk intended to connote the Indo-European origins of the Lithuanian language as well as Lithuanian strength of character, its designer says.

"For Lithuanians to identify themselves with this perfume, we've added the smell of wood fires that can be associated with pagan rituals, as well as moss and wildflowers," Stongvilas said.
