This isn't the best angle, but you can at least see the length. I still think I look too masculine but I'm a little less bothered by it with the shorter hair, curiously. Also it doesn't seem to fluff up too badly in rainy/humid weather, although granted today was hardly the acid test as far as that goes, being just a little drizzly.

Wow!! It's SO short! If you think it looks to masculine, you might think about parting your hair to one side or the other. Just a thought. However, that might look to girly. I guess it all depends on what you think.

wow, that's different. (like i've seen so many pictures of you ;) i see what you mean about the masculinity, tho i think its more an androgyny (at least in that photo), like, if you put the name 'Pat' or 'Leslie' or something under it, some people might be left wondering.

oh. i have LJ set not to display pics unless i click on them, and when i did, i got an error message page saying 'i have no idea how you got here' etc.- which i realize now was automatic, but seemed at first like it was responding to temporary problems with that pic. That's what THAT was responding to.

Oh. Everyone else has been seeing the picture just fine. I turned on hotlinking protection on my website and I was pretty sure to leave it set so direct access for a picture was ok, but maybe when you click like you are doing it thinks there's a hotlink coming in from gothikfaerie.livejournal.com or something which isn't on the approved list (unlike tass.livejournal.com).

Sounds like you got the 403 Forbidden page. I set up custom error pages, although the text I put in everything but 404 isn't very helpful because I am not sure under what conditions people would get them.

401 Authorization Required - "How did you get this error page? I haven't configured anything to use password-protection!"

403 Forbidden - "I'm not sure why you would get this page because I haven't used any IP address blocking or anything like that. So unfortunately, I don't know what to do to fix it. Just click Back, is all the advice I can give you."

Hmm, I don't have anything lying around that you could really compare it to, having never met me. Most of the stuff on my website shows me with an intermediate hair length which I actually haven't worn in many years either. http://www.eristic.net/photo/personal/meinfirelight.html maybe, as it's the most recent, although you can't really see the hair length I used to have very well in that photo. http://www.eristic.net/photo/personal/12th.html maybe, even though that picture is over 10 years old, I still looked pretty much like that except for some few fine lines around my mouth and eyes.
