enotsola: You should totally do that. Then when whatever stupid person Laurier hired for the Acquisitions Manager position doesn't work out, you would have the more management experience they wanted.
Me: And then when they asked what my management style was, I could say WHIP AND CHAIR.

I was just saying to your boy that they're hiring here at the Centre box office. Admittedly, it's for part time positions, so it may not be the be all or end all, but it could help, and it's a decent work environment...*shrugs*

Though I do like that whip & chair thing. ;)

I dunno, given your horror stories, I think I might kill myself. What is the pay like? Part-time especially hurts (since that means it's not enough to move out on) but if they don't mind me quitting in a short time when I find something "real" then at least it might be a tide-over. I have like zero previous retail/commercial "customer service" experience though.
