One of the things you need to include with an I-129F (Petition for Alien Fiance(e)) is some kind of proof that you've met in person at least once in the past two years. So, pictures. With a film camera, even. Most of them turned out rubbish, but I like these two. I prefer the second one overall, but the first isn't too bad, and for some reason I look really young in it. (For those of you keeping score at home, I'm on the short side to 29, not approximately, oh, 16 as I might appear to be in this photo.) P.S. enotsola is tickled that the US calls immigrants "aliens" in many instances (unlike Canada, which just goes ahead and dully calls them "permanent residents"), because it means he will have a government card which shows once and for all that he is in fact an alien ("alien registration card", aka "green card", although the document itself is no longer green, I read, and this card of course is just a standard plastic photo ID). *insert theremin sound here*

Hey, enotsola is pretty cute. You are too, but I usually feel the need to point out attractive males over attractive females, probably because males are less likely to be good-looking than females are.

Ha ha, of course, you've known what we look like since years ago. :) (Actually I compared this picture to one from Kin North, seven years ago, and it's amazing how little we've each changed, except that he's grown the goatee.)

The thing that amazes me is how much you two are beginning to look alike.

That's odd, since my perception is that we've grown apart. The first picture I ever saw of him, back in 1999 when he had really long hair and also was only like 17 in the photo, I remember thinking that I looked a lot like him, especially if I pulled the same face in the mirror. I don't have that feeling now (although I do still feel that we are paradoxically the "same height", even though I know he's a good six or seven inches taller than I am).

I'm not sure what sixteen is supposed to look like, but you look a lot less like you're going "Agh, sunlight! It burns! It burns!" in the second picture. :-)
