Okay, I cave. I wasn't going to copy this here from esmestrella, but everyone seems to be missing this joke, and I want assurance that it is not because it was wide of the mark. The opening line in italics is the text of a summary of a "story" on fanfiction.net; the rest is me. (In this case it was not actually a story, it was the kind of non-story material you're not supposed to post.) What do you do with bad, unintentionally funny, or just plain bizarre summaries? You snark on them, of course. (See mctabby's Summary Executions.) Er, not that I sent this to the person in question. That would be way too mean. This is juvenile snickering behind their back.

I found fanfiction.net, but I can't seem to find a story.

A. Type LOOK.
B. Pay close attention to the room description.
C. Do the blue underlined words seem to signify anything?
D. Try touching or pressing one of them.

Has no one else ever picked up an Invisiclues book? They are practically readable as novels on their own.

I first played Zork when I was 6 years old. On a C64. "ajar" totally befuddled me. I first solved Zork in college, and that was with serious resorting to the hints (hence my familiarity with the style *koff*).
