Hmmm... I disagree. I mean, I'm monogamous and everything (literally, now that I am in fact married), but I don't believe being married to someone makes the situation described suddenly never again possible for you. False dichotomy.
why does it have to be with a stranger? I find it much more appealing to fall recklessly in love with someone I already know. There are plenty of other ways to make it reckless and dangerous besides falling for a stranger.
No shit. One of the most fun things about falling in love (and/or lust, limerence, or just plain "ooh, shiny!") with a new person, nowadays, is telling feyandstrange about it and having her wish me luck, be happy for me, and occasionally egg me on.
Such is not necessarily love. Sometimes it is just recognition of a kindred spirit (as a certain dragoness can attest to; we didn't fall in love when we met...but we did promptly ignore everyone else in the room as 'not worth attention'). *wry grin*
