Born US citizens: Think you could pass your own country's citizenship test? Try it. (that's not the best one but it was the easiest to futz with online that I found - ignore the fact that the rest of the site is in Spanish, lol) Actually, I hope everyone reading this would handily be able to say "yes" (I got 20/20 four times running, myself, before I got bored), but I'm sure there's thousands and thousands of high school graduates - and worse, voting adults (well, possibly voting) - who couldn't say the same. Blerg.
If anyone's wondering why I was going down this road in the first place, it's because I was searching for online practice versions of the Canadian citizenship test. I poked at one I found from some library in BC, and I was actually able to pass, even without having any real clue (or maybe it's just that I care more than "not at all" and have therefore picked up some information). All I didn't know was the local-specific stuff like who-the-heck-ever-it-was that was the premier of BC.
