Does anyone out there happen to have a woodruff plant in their yard? I wanted to make some May wine and bought dried woodruff, and I fear it's just not going to cut it. If I crumble it in my fingers I can faintly smell its characteristic odor, but it's clearly very weak in essential oils compared to the fresh stuff, apparently not something that well handles being dried and stored.

It wouldn't be fresh-fresh but a few days old and wilted is sure to be better than the impotent dried stuff I have.
