Today I had to click Previous 50 when I read my DW flist on one account.

And by the time I did, the last post from the first page was again at the top of the next one back, meaning one new post had been made in that time.

Wow.

I mean, it's probably 2017revival, but I haven't had to do that in a long time on LJ, never mind DW (like, ever).

Yeah, I know, right? And when I pop in to check on stuff, and look at and answer (as appropriate) new comments, by the time I'm done, there are new comments.

It's not 2004, but it sure as hell isn't 2015 either. I am starting to consider the phrase "critical mass."

Feels good to read all this. I just wish it happened a couple years ago instead of now. In my case, FaceBook might not've taken as much of a hold of my life and that of my closer circle of friends.

But many posts on reading list and new comments while commenting are VERY exciting!

Facebook is still a place I mostly refuse to go. I follow the official Pantheacon page there because it's the best way to get current information especially about the battle for hotel rooms (they are not so good about updating their own website or putting things in their RSS feed), and there's a couple of local friends who use it for organizing invites to parties at their house. That's about it. I am nominally a follower of a few other Pagan pages and receive occasional notifications from them, but I almost never read my feed there, possibly the first page or two if I'm already there for some other reason, but that's like, a couple of times a month tops in the normal course of events.
