Argh. Apparently whoever was running Reocities (one of the Geocities archives) decided to take it down? All I get now at the root domain is an "It works!" page which seems to me like what you might get from a host when you've just activated a new domain or account.

Alternates include geocities.ws, oocities.org, and GeocitiesSites.com, but sigh, I knew reocities was the most complete.

I hadn't even heard of geocitiessites.com, but it seems like it only has a select few, not an attempt to archive a ton of them as the others are?

I already tried the other two. Neither of them has the site in question. Le sigh.

Some old community drama, I think. The title in my bookmarks says "Jacky Lantern - Chamaelirium" which refers to the person also known as Terry Sindar, one of the people who ran the wyldefae list back in the day, but I don't remember whether it's from him (or more likely from his then-partner sade wolfkitten) or whether it was satirical of him.
