As you may know I spend a lot of time in Harry Potter fandom, and one of my friends on my other journal made a post to the effect of "no, I haven't left Snape fandom for Spock fandom; here, have a list of ways the two of them are alike" and one of them was that both of them were people who could make a phrase like "live long and prosper" mean "go die in a fire". :)
