You know something, I am Really, Really Tired of having some idea or thing that I think is cool, and wanting to show it off, and getting reactions ranging from "oh, whatever" to an active shooting-down by some Big Gun Who Knows What They Are Talking About (I mean, someone I perceive this way, as opposed to just "by popular opinion").

(First, did you see my post in question, for the context? I think I put you in my "otherkin" filter. It was last night, titled "Legends of Ourselves". Let me know if you could or couldn't see it.)

I think that thinking of what I'm talking about as "possibly fun" is a bit of an error in itself... like a glamourbomb, for example, the sort of stories and exchanges in a "special place" that I'm taking about could be uplifting and a bit escapist, but that's not where their essence should lie. I'm trying to get at a deeper mode of expression and experience.
