Staying home watching The Nightmare Before Christmas and maybe some bad vampire films, answering the door for the 5 whole children who will actually show up to our house, and probably getting drunk: 30%

My mom being at Cynagua Coronet because some woman she knows is getting (SCA-)knighted and she wants to be around for the vigil or the ceremony or both, I forget, and therefore who knows when the heck she will be home that evening which may affect timing and/or possibilities of some of the above plans: 100% Apparently she's not going to the vigil, is leaving hell-ass early in the morning to make it to Woodland (?) for 10 or 11 AM court, and is planning to be home before sunset because she doesn't want to get stuck among people (possibly such as ourselves) going to their evening partying destinations.

The SCA for a knighting does BOTH a vigil AND a ceremony. :)

I would guess both. The former is at least technically part of the latter. And they ARE expected to have visitors during the vigil, IIRC.

*sigh* Apparently I am still not making myself clear. I know these things. However, she has medical issues which sometimes mean she can only daytrip things and should generally not be driving at night and blah blah blah and all things taken together, I do not know a) whether she is leaving Friday or waiting until Saturday morning and b) how late she is planning on returning on Saturday. (IOW given the number of spoons she has, is she planning on one or the other only, or both, and I don't know.)
