Should we worry about soya in our food?

Side question of articles like this, though - so, you can't eat soy, AND you can't eat meat, AND you can't... so what's left to eat? Everything kills, these days, it seems.

"Everything in moderation. Soy has been used in Asia for centuries and they're not having problems. I would be concerned about heavily processed soy in processed foods..."

Apparently one of the major factors is whether the bean is processed enough, as odd as that may sound. Fermentation or similar processes (as for the preparation of miso or tofu) apparently decreases the problematic compounds, and it's the consumption of raw- or near-raw products (pressed oil, the leftover cake, soy flour, and actually, soy milk too) that is an issue.
