TV Guide cover
Mar. 1st, 2006 11:20 am(interesting meme, from

Go to the TV Guide Cover Gallery and, if you're young enough to be able to find it, pick a TV Guide cover from the year of your birth and post it to your journal.
The one for the week I was born was pretty boring, so I picked three others:
( UFOs )
( Hey! Battlestar Galactica! )
And finally - is it me, or does Santa's motorsycle look like a scared sheep? ( What is Santa *doing* to it? )
I don't qualify for the followup question about "when did we get our first colour TV set", since the only B/W one that has ever been in my house since I was born was a small portable one my dad kept on top of the oscilloscope in his room (along with two regular colour sets and a Commodore monitor he often used as one - he used to watch, like, all the networks' news programs at once).

heartssdesire swiped the link I posted to the living-tree houses, and one good link deserves another, I will in turn distribute the link she posted alongside it in her journal, which is Andy Goldsworthy. Unfortunately just a Wikipedia article and not an artist website or anything like that, but a bunch of other external links there.

See, clarifying topics is where they really shine. They're also bright
enough to lay out a good spread for their dinner guests. They usually
start out with a light salad.
