You got a beef with what I've been looking at, Chrome?


(This is just me digging back through someone's tumblr. Why it chose to save a bunch of thumbnails for the same blog, I dunno. Actually, I never use this feature, so if anyone knows how to turn it off entirely, that'd be neat.)

Yeah it's in the settings for what opening a new tab does if I recall.

I don't see settings for that specifically. You can decide what appears on startup, including choosing to see the New Tab page, but the configuration of the New Tab page itself seems to be pretty built-in. And of course you can delete thumbnails from it all you like but you can't stop it from creating new ones. (Is there such a thing as Tab Mix Plus for Chrome? I see options controlling what appears in a new tab in TMP in Pale Moon, but I don't have all the same things installed in Chrome since I basically only use it for Tumblr, because New Xkit doesn't work in Pale Moon.)

Fortunately someone appears to have written an extension that creates an actually blank page when you create a new tab, which is really what I wanted, so I got there in the end.
