It's pretty and all but I'm amused by the language "The Crown of the Sun" (of course, the literal meaning of "corona") and by this: "features on the dim, near side of the New Moon can also be made out, illuminated by sunlight reflected from a Full Earth." I don't know how common it is to capture that in such a photograph, but it sort of compresses the Earth-Moon-Sun alignment required for a solar eclipse into a single symbolic image. The Sun containing the Moon and Earth, in other words, as in fact is the case (in an esoteric, Tree of Life sense, from the perspective of Earth). Just thought that was neat.

So. That earthquake. Doods, I felt that. Not the shaking (duh, at 400 miles away?), but the "*ping* Huh? WTF? Something totally just happened in the last ten minutes..." as I was sitting in the waiting room at the eye doctor's while enotsola was having his eyes poked at.

Weird.

I know what I'm talking about. Whatever you're thinking of, it stands a very good chance of being ... well, not wrong; this is poetry. But not the same thing.

I am now up to twenty wing and tail feathers (only one "left-handed" wing "finger" though, it's rather unbalanced) and two small "contour" feathers. Yesterday I was again led into the path of a feather by a sudden "no, I think I'll walk this direction!" decision. At this rate I am shortly going to have an entire crow. O.o

("No, that doesn't mean I should like to find a dead one," she thinks at no one in particular.)

Today at The Maul I drove past a car with the license plate ASFLOTH (we have only seven characters available on California plates).

I guess naming my car "Hasufel" was well chosen... (superceding "Dragonfly" now that it seems to have gotten some personality; and yea, he appears to be somewhere in the masculine part of the gender spectrum, although not very heavily so - goes with the whole femmy-elven theme implied by names out of LOTR, I guess.)

I know this is going to make a lot of you raise eyebrows and go "gee, never knew she'd gone off the New Age deep end" (I haven't, honest), but after I posted this to a filter I got the urge to unlock it and make it a public post, so here you have it. I hope it is worth the sense of embarrassment and exposure to ridicule and rejection, that it means something to someone out there who otherwise wouldn't have seen it. (Please note this is not my writing, I'm just reposting it.)

Nothing can be done in secrecy now. Everything that has been hidden will come to Light.

As things gear up more and more, people become unhinged. Many standoffs between people and the police or those in authoritative positions. Riots. Change is happening so fast in such rapid succession that people go berserk in a moments notice. Sudden.

Sudden. Everything is sudden.

Surprise! Surprise! Oh! Oh! Shock! Change. If you do not flow with it you will break. Paradigms changing constantly. Those stuck in dogmatic belief systems of any kind, whether spiritual, political, economical, educational, physical, ecological, or whatever, will all experience a rude awakening during this time.

All paradigms are changing as the vibrations move up rapidly into new territory and new consciousness. New information will shatter all that you have held as true and dear. What you thought was correct or right will be shaken to the core. Literally and figuratively.

Anything you thought was set in stone you will find is made of shifting sands including the Mother Earth.

If you still think you have the answer, you will discover that you don't. Not yet, anyway.

Much has been torn asunder for quite some time, but the time of joining together again is rapidly approaching. ( Read more... )
