I was today years old when I learned Death Guild was doing shows on Twitch on first Saturdays. Hmm... will this killer-app me into a Twitch account so I can pitch some money their way? (and how long has it been since I've been to DG? at least ten, maybe 15 years...)

Currently listening to a random Cure playlist. Somehow that track brings back memories of Sac'to goth clubs 1999-2000 even tho I don't think they played Pornography, or not that much anyway?. More like it makes me remember what I played at home, which would probably involve Pornography and Faith and Disintegration and such. But now I think of it, what really makes me think of that time is Peter Murphy, either "I'll Fall With Your Knife" or "Mercy Rain".

Does anyone know a good way to get in contact with Elvendrums? I ordered a CD from them last month, but when I had received neither the thing nor a shipping notice about 4 weeks later, I tried to email to the Paypal address I'd sent the money to. That bounced as "no such address" (...erm. Not good), so I tried emailing them through the form on their site. I haven't received any response to that either. I'm starting to worry there's nobody home. Other contact ideas before I resort to disputing the transaction to at least get my money back?

ETA May 8: Resolved a couple weeks ago. I got in contact with Devan (Dee) through her Facebook profile, oddly enough. She seemed surprised to hear that email was bouncing and said it would explain some things. heh.

I now understand precisely what is meant by "Want you smothered, want you covered / like my Waffle House hash browns" (the lyric from "The Bad Touch"). I had no idea these adjectives (participles? adjectival past participles?) actually referred to specific toppings, namely sauteed onions and cheese, although I had guessed that cheese was probably involved. I'd always heard "waffle house" as a generic, because until recently I did not know there was actually a chain with that specific name, and in any case I never made the connection.

I guess this information is now stored in one of the crannies of my brain not used for storing penguins.

Really, those notes are further apart than that in the scale. Please, guys, go back to playing your odd slightly surf-musicky interpretations of classical pieces, or whatever it was you were playing fifteen minutes ago.
